Storm coming, Congress will form government in Haryana: Rahul

“Congress will win the Haryana elections. A storm is coming and we will form the government,” he said. About his recent visit to the US, Rahul said he met some youth from Haryana who went there in search of a better future as they could not get employment opportunities in their state. “Why are the youth of Haryana going to the US?” he asked.

“When I visited Dallas in the US, I saw fifteen to twenty people sleeping in one room. I asked them how they reached America,” Rahul said. “Then I heard about their ordeal of traveling through many countries to reach the US. They were plundered by the mafia on their way to the US and even saw their brothers die,” said Rahul.

One of the youth told him that at least Rs 35 lakh was needed to reach the US, which they either borrowed at high interest or obtained by selling their agricultural land. “The Haryana government has destroyed the state,” he alleged while lashing out at the BJP over unemployment.

Tactical move

By collating caste counts and unemployment, the Congress is looking at 20% of SC votes and youth unemployment. He chose to hold a rally in Karnal, home of ex-CM ML Khattar
