Victim goes on trial before man accused of child sex crimes

A teenage girl took the stand Wednesday against a Manhattan man accused of stealing nude photos of her from her boyfriend’s phone.

The trial of 29-year-old Tristian Gooden-Heit of Manhattan began Tuesday in Riley County District Court with jury selection and was expected to last through Thursday. Gooden-Heit faces 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a child and several counts of interfering with law enforcement by tampering with evidence and committing computer crimes.
