The cheating mafia family uses black magic to evade UP STF

Meerut: In a strange attempt to evade the UP Special Task Force (STF), the family of an infamous cheating mafia kingpin used black magic to hinder the task force’s efforts during a raid Bulandshahr‘s Ismailpur village on Thursday. The raid was part of an ongoing investigation into the leakage of the CSIR-NET exam held in July.
Deepak Kumar, from Madhi village in Meerut, is the mastermind behind the deception. Although six people have been arrested, Kumar remains at large. During the raid, officers found a havan kund (sacred hearth) on the roof along with several items related to black magic. They also found photos of STF members, apparently taken from their social media profiles.
Additional SP STF Brijesh Kumar said, “We got a tip-off and raided Kumar’s in-laws’ house on Thursday. Though we couldn’t nab him, we noticed suspicious activities including pictures of our team. Something sinister was going on.”
The family admitted to hiring a tantric to perform rituals to distract the officers from pursuing Kumar. The household consists of Rajesh Yadav, his wife, son Siddharth and elderly father. Deepak Kumar is married to Rajesh’s daughter.
Rajesh, a veterinarian, is described as reclusive. “They rarely interact with others in the village. They have several dogs and I last visited their house on Holi 10-15 years ago,” said Harendra Singh, a resident.
Another resident, Raj Kumar, added, “Rajesh’s daughter married Deepak about a decade ago,” and suggested that the family had previously followed black magic for “her ailment.”
