William Ruto insists Parliament was breached by criminal gangs: ‘They needed to be managed’

President William Ruto continues to stick to his views on the events in Nairobi on June 25 this year.

The anti-tax protests culminated with the invasion of the National Assembly, where property was damaged.

Speaking to CNN, Ruto said the invasion of Parliament, a crucial institution in Kenya’s democratic system, was undertaken by criminals.
