Israel’s war against Hezbollah increases American national and homeland security, Yoram Ettinger

Israel’s war against Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthi terrorists – and their patron, the Iranian ayatollahs – underlines Israel’s unique role as a force multiplier for the US. It sheds light on the mutually beneficial, two-way flow of U.S.-Israeli cooperation, which yields more for American taxpayers than U.S. foreign aid to Israel.

For example:

*Israel is fighting Hezbollah, a global epicenter – after the Iranian ayatollahs – of anti-American terrorism, drug trafficking and money laundering, stretching from the Middle East to the Americas. As a proxy for Iran’s ayatollahs, Hezbollah has proliferated terrorist cells in the US – “the Great American Satan” – and carried out terror attacks on US installations in the Middle East and beyond. Furthermore, Hezbollah has collaborated with drug cartels in Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador and Brazil since the early 1980s; trained Latin American terrorists (en route to the US) in the Argentina-Paraguay-Brazil and Chile-Peru-Bolivia tri-border areas; conducted a mega billion dollar money laundering operation between Latin America, West Africa, Europe and the Middle East; has terrorized pro-American regimes in West, North and East Africa; and has systematically attempted to overthrow all pro-American ‘apostate’ Sunni Arab regimes, such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt and Morocco. Hezbollah and the Iranian ayatollahs have targeted Israel as the U.S. vanguard, and the U.S. first line of defense, in the “abode of Islam.”
