Castleton On Hudson man caught with child porn

Rensselaer County resident Brayden P. Ayer, age 20, of Castleton on Hudson, was charged on Friday, September 27, with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

According to New York State Police Trooper Stephanie O’Neil, Ayer is accused of promoting and possessing images related to child sexual exploitation.

O’Neil said his arrest followed an investigation and execution of a search warrant at his home in Castleton on Hudson.

Ayer was arrested, charged, arraigned and remanded to the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail.
