As described in court documents and testimony, a drug dealer – identified as MM – met the defendants in the parking lot of a Savannah apartment complex in October 2021 to sell them large amounts of methamphetamine and heroin. Instead, the three men robbed MM at gunpoint, took his bag containing drugs, cash and a firearm, and then shot MM in the buttocks as he escaped.

The defendants then stole MM’s vehicle and fled, leaving behind a pickup truck rented by Williams. Port Wentworth police recovered Williams’ car with the bag and drugs inside after a short chase from which Williams escaped. Williams and Moss were later located and taken into custody.
