Johnson City man charged with 37 crimes against children

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — A Johnson City man has been charged with 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and 17 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, according to Johnson City police.

Police said Sawyer Cross, 25, was arrested after receiving information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s CyberTipline.

They added that after executing a search warrant on August 30, he was arrested and charged with aggravated assault of a minor. They said the additional charges were imposed after examining Cross’ electronic devices.
