BRIT (🇧🇷🤝🇮🇹) but not British

Even though I’m about to move to Italy next year, I think I already know what some of you have to say about this combination 😭

I was born in Brazil and recognized my Italian citizenship through my great-grandparents, who came from Calabria to Rio de Janeiro fleeing poverty and mafia exploitation.

Due to the difficulty of obtaining all the documents, an appointment and the need to correct some of these documents, I recognized my citizenship in less than two years. Today I got my Italian passport 🥳

By the way, I hope that the Italian parliament will approve the ius scholae for a better life for some immigrants there!
