Denzel Washington ‘screamed’ at Diddy during late-night party in 2003 before ‘storming out’: report

Denzel Washington and Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly aired their own private issues publicly more than two decades ago.

Washington, 69, reportedly stood up to the disgraced rapper, 54, during an all-night party in 2003, a source told US Weekly.

It’s unclear why the Oscar-winning actor was mad at Diddy, but he reportedly had enough and confronted the billionaire founder of Bad Boy Entertainment.

“Denzel screamed, ‘You don’t respect anyone,’” the insider recalled.

Shortly after the incident, Denzel and his wife abruptly left the festivities.

“(Denzel and his wife, Pauletta) were partying until dawn (with Diddy), and they saw something and stormed out,” the source said. It is unclear what the couple saw during the event.

Fox News Digital has reached out to representatives from both Washington and Combs.

The reported breakup that night did not appear to affect their friendship, as Diddy and Denzel had been seen together at several public events over the years, including basketball games and President Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration.

More than 100 accusers reportedly came forward with claims of “rape, sexual assault and sexual exploitation” against Diddy, with the youngest accuser being 9 years old, Houston attorney Tony Buzbee said during a news conference on Tuesday. Buzbee acknowledged that there were more minors involved in the lawsuits, which have yet to be filed.

“When we talk about the ages of the victims when the behavior occurred, it’s shocking,” Buzbee said at the conference. “The youngest victim at the time of the incident was 9 years old. We have a person who was 14 years old. We have one who was 15. Twenty-five of the 120 plaintiffs in these cases were minors at the time. of the actions complained of.”

He added, “The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs, and there are many names. It’s already a long list, but because of the nature of this case, we’re going to make damn sure – damn sure – that we’re right before we do that.

“The names will shock you.”

Diddy was arrested on September 16 and charged with racketeering the next day; sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The rapper pleaded not guilty hours after an indictment detailing his alleged sex crimes was unsealed. If found guilty, he faces a minimum prison sentence of 15 years or a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Authorities alleged that Diddy ran a criminal enterprise through his companies, which included Bad Boy Entertainment, Combs Enterprises and Combs Global, among others. He used “guns, threats of violence, coercion, and verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse” to fulfill his sexual desires, according to the unsealed indictment obtained by Fox News Digital.

Diddy and his employees allegedly “intimidate, threaten and lure female victims into Combs’ orbit, often under the pretense of a romantic relationship.” Combs then allegedly used violence, threats of violence and coercion to induce victims to commit elaborate sexual acts with men. commercial sex workers whom Combs called, among other things, ‘freak offs’.”

Before the US Attorney’s press conference in September, Combs’ attorney said they plan to fight for the rapper’s release.

“He’s in good spirits. He’s confident,” Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said outside the courthouse on Sept. 17. “He’s dealing with this head-on, like he’s dealt with every challenge in his life. And he’s not guilty.” He is innocent of these charges. He will of course plead not guilty. He will fight this with all his energy and all his might and the full confidence of his attorneys, Mr. Combs.”
