Join Reboot and the JCCSF+ partners on the beach to reset your system with a modern twist on a 600-year-old Rosh Hashanah ritual called tashlich. This practice of getting rid of all our bad vuggum (karma) from the previous year and making a fresh start for the new year is traditionally performed by dropping crumbs (we now use birdseed to be more environmentally conscious) into the ocean. Bring a shofar, if you have one, and blow along with some of San Francisco’s best players from the Jazz Mafia, the Irish Pipers Band, and the Ministers of Sound of the Saint John Will-I-Am Coltrane African Orthodox Church! Tashlique is presented by Reboot and the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco with community partners Hebrew Free Loan, The Kitchen, OneTable, SF Hillel and Value Culture!
