Centrelink basher allegedly caught with a Lamborghini and Rolex watches skips trial after being arrested in his underwear alongside his glamorous gangster widow wife

A former benefits recipient who was arrested in his underwear when police seized luxury cars and watches from his home has pleaded not guilty to dishonesty.

Mahmoud ‘Bargo’ Bargshoon spent five years on Centrelink before he was reportedly picked up in July with a Lamborghini, a Harley Davidson, Rolex watches and high-end designer gear.

Police had been investigating the unexplained wealth of individuals with alleged links to organized crime networks when they were led to the unit where Bargshoon lived with his wife, glamorous gangster widow Fatima Hage, in Parramatta, in Sydney’s west.

There they allegedly seized $500,000 worth of items, including a Lamborghini Huracan, a Harley Davidson V-Rod and two Rolex watches. Heavily armed police from the State Crime Command Organized Crime Squad dragged Bargshoon out of the unit in his underwear in the early morning.

Footage of Bargshoon’s arrest also showed a shoe rack stocked with an array of Nike sneakers – a premium shoe brand – and a large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall in the living room.

Bargshoon was not present at Parramatta Local Court on Friday as his lawyer Harry Gribilas denied a charge of dishonestly possessing ‘a motor vehicle with a unique identifier which has been tampered with’.

It is believed the charge relates to the $384,000 Lamborghini Huracan found in his apartment.

The 39-year-old, who has been on benefits since 2019, previously made headlines over a dispute between Ms Hage and an ex-girlfriend, Rose, over a woman’s Rolex watch.

The dispute was sparked by a salacious portrait of the newlywed Bargshoon and Mrs. Hage, in which she wore a revealing jumpsuit and sat on a gold throne on her new husband’s lap, a blue Hermes Birkin bag next to her high-heeled feet.

On the left wrist of Ms. Hage in the photo was a watch that Rose claimed was the same $12,500 two-tone diamond timepiece he had originally given her, but which had mysteriously disappeared.

Mrs Hage strongly denied the allegations on her husband’s behalf to Daily Mail Australia, claiming she was wearing a different watch for the photo.

Before their three-month relationship ended, a suspect confronted Rose Bargshoon, who denied taking the luxury watch.

Rose then accused him of stealing it before allegedly gifting it to Mrs Hage, a glamorous hairdresser.

Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting that Bargshoon stole the watch, only that it became the subject of a months-long feud between the two women.

Daily Mail Australia previously revealed that another Lamborghini Huracan, leased by Bargshoon, was set on fire on a street in Olympic Park in Sydney’s west last year.

Police launched a hunt for two people who were carrying jerry cans shortly before the fire broke out, but no charges were ever filed over the incident.

Trials and tribulations of Bargshoon’s wife

Before marrying Bargshoon, Mrs. Hage had a tragic romantic history with two different gangsters.

Seven years ago, she survived a gangland hit that claimed the life of her lover, Kemel “Blackie” Barakat.

Barakat had longstanding ties to the Comanchero and Hells Angels motorcycle gangs and was a suspect in the 2016 execution of career criminal Hamad Assaad, 29.

Fatima and Blackie were in bed at 2.30am in Mortlake, in the south of the city, in March 2017 when masked gunmen burst into his unit and executed him in a hail of bullets.

Barakat’s trusted friend, former Sydney electrician Ahmed Jaghbir, has since been convicted of complicity before the murder after organizing a new door and locks to be installed in the apartment where the shooting took place.

Ms Hage is now suing NSW Police for trauma and PTSD following the murder.

Bargshoon’s rented Lamborghini Huracan was set on fire in western Sydney

The shooting, considered the most horrific in Sydney’s gang war, happened after Rizk and another man arrived at the address looking for a Brothers 4 Life gang member.

The teenage girl, who was dressed in her Dr. Seuss pajamas and at the time helped unpack groceries, lay bleeding on the floor after being shot in the hip and asked her mother, ‘Am I going to die?’.

Rizk has also been accused of stalking and intimidating Ms Hage from prison, and breaching an AVO made by police on her behalf.

Bargshoon’s charges will next be heard at Parramatta Local Court in November.
