Sin against migrants – Catholic Arena

Estimates are that more than 50% of women are sexually assaulted during their illegal crossing. Landowners find “rape trees” on the routes that cross their land, where the Coyotes hang their “trophies.” Who can victims ask for justice?

Some women and children are trafficked for sex in the receiving country. Don’t forget the sexual exploitation of boys.

Such illegal migration does not help anything “the dignity of the individual.”

Responsibility to the citizens

The government of a country is also responsible for caring for the citizens of that country. This includes security, but also food distribution, housing, education, healthcare, utilities and social services.

For example, the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is now unable to provide adequate assistance to victims of Hurricane Helene because approximately $1 BILLION was diverted to care for migrants.

It is disturbing that citizens are left homeless, while migrants are housed in four and five star hotels.

Brightness

Uncontrolled mass migration is a disaster.

We need clarity on what the right balance is between reasonable, safe migration and the security of the receiving country. A cultural and social disaster threatens to destroy Europe and North America, so the answer must come quickly.

An internal collapse in a country helps neither the citizen nor the migrant.

Shame against migrants.

I ask forgiveness and feel shame for the time we took and are now participating in the globalization of indifference, in the face of the tragedies that, for many migrants, transform the sea routes and the borders between nations, from roots of hope to roots of death . The value of a person is always higher than that of the limit. Right now I hear the voice of God asking us all: Where is your brother? …where is your sister?

Forgive us Lord.”
