A Christian County woman is accused of child sexual exploitation

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Tenn. – A Christian County woman is arrested on charges of child sexual exploitation.

Stephanie Vickers, 33, will be arrested Thursday following an undercover investigation by the Kentucky Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Kentucky State Police said. She is accused of sharing illegal images online.

KSP said troopers seized equipment at a home in Hopkinsville that was used to commit the crimes.

The charges against Vickers, who is booked into the Christian County Jail, include four counts of distribution of material depicting a minor in a sexual performance under the age of 12, four counts of possession of material depicting a minor in a sexual performance sexual performance under 12 years old. and four counts of promoting a minor under the age of 16 during a sexual performance.

The ICAC program was developed due to the increasing number of children and teenagers using the Internet, the spread of child sexual abuse material and the increased online activity of predators seeking unsupervised contact with child victims.
