Ranchi: An alleged application showing an FIR against the Health Minister Banna Gupta circulates social media As Saturday evening was fake and an attempt to tarnish the minister’s image, SP Raj Kumar Mehta said on Sunday.
In the application, one Pooja Mahto has accused the minister sexual exploitation.
The application is provided with a “case number” with various sections of the IPC and names of the “investigating officers”.
The SP said at a press conference that the name of the applicant was fake, while the office seal of an SP was also forged in the application.
He said, “Based on the complaint of a police officer, a case has been registered at Kotwali police station against one Prabhat and other unknown persons under section 319 (2), 318 (4), 336 (2), 235 and 61 (2). ) of BNS and section 66 (c) and 66 (d) of the Information Technology Act.”
