Telegram’s problems are piling up now that the UN report shows abuse of the platform as an underground market

The report has put all eyes back on the social media platform Telegram. Earlier in August, 39-year-old Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov was arrested by French police. Authorities accused him of failing to prevent illegal activities on the platform, including fraud, drug trafficking, cyberbullying, organized crime and encouraging terrorism.
