Two great Hollywood stars who taste great together, Will Smith and Michael Bay, could return to the genre that inspires audiences to grip the arms of their theater seats for the upcoming action movie Fast and loose. According to Deadline exclusive report, the duo who created the Bad boys franchise hopes to ink a deal with Netflix for their next collaborative project. Michael Bay is in final negotiations to take over Fast and loose for Netflix, which could be Smith’s next step after leaving thriller Sugar bandits.

Smith has developed Fast and loose for a while, thanks to an adrenaline rush after the latest movie in the Bad boys series, Bad Boys: Ride or Diegrossed $400 million at the worldwide box office. After showing he’s ready to step back into the spotlight, Smith aims to hit Hollywood with cinematic bangers for audiences to enjoy. While the deal remains in flux, Netflix wants to reunite Smith and Bay for obvious reasons.

In the sequel, Lowrey and Burnett’s deceased police captain is linked to drug cartels. To clear his name, a wisecracking Miami police duo embarks on a dangerous mission to clear his name.

The working relationship between Bay and Smith dates back to 1995 Bad boysan action that made them household names. The duo worked together again in 2003 Bad Boys IIwho banked $273 million+ worldwide. After directing 2019’s 6 Undergroundstarring Ryan Reynolds, Michael Bay can be seen on Netflix, just like Flint. Fast and loose could be the filmmaker’s most important film on the streamer, especially with Smith there to take the lead.
