Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mother is not saying she is “shocked and very saddened” by the allegations made against her son, but saying they are “lies.”

The musician, popular for hits including 1997’s I’ll Be Missing You, was arrested last month on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He is currently being held in the Manhattan Detention Center after being denied bail.

For one statement, Janice Small Combs defends her son: Although he “makes mistakes for the past, as we all do,” he says he is “not a monster he won’t be.”

“It was heartbreaking to see my son judged not by the truth, but by a narrative they created out of lies,” she wrote.

She says Mrs. Small Combs and the Combs family will get a statement on the matter from her attorney, Natlie G. Figgers.

The top lawyer denies this and all allegations are ambiguous, calling them “false and defamatory”.

I have been dealing with a number of cases since last year where my former partner Cassie Ventura accused me of rape and assault.

Oga Combs denied the allegations, and the case was settled out of court one day after filing.

But after being sued by twelve other women, many of them accused the rapper of drugs and assaulting him.

Federal agents raid properties in March as authorities build a criminal case against Di Star.

In May, a video of Oga Combs physically attacking Ms. Ventura outside a hotel room before 2016 was leaked to the press.

Before her statement, Mrs. Small Combs said in the video that she is “not here to portray my son as perfect, just to say that she is not perfect.”

“My son isn’t completely honest about some looks, like how I deny ever being violent to an ex-girlfriend when hotel security shows otherwise,” she said.

“Sometimes the truth and a lie become so closely intertwined that they are afraid to admit part of the truth, especially if the truth is outside the normal or too complicated to believe.”

“This is why I believe my son’s civil law team chose to settle the lawsuit against my ex-girlfriend instead of fighting it to the end, this affects the federal government making this decision against my son used and interpreted as an admission of guilt.”

Oga Combs apologizes for the incident caught on film, saying, “I take full responsibility for my actions on that video. I was disgusted when I was too. I’m disgusted now.”

Concluding her statement, Janice Small Combs argues that there is one lie that does not make me guilty of all the “abhorrent accusations and serious accusations leveled against me.”

“It really hurts me to see the world turn against my son so quickly and easily because of lies and misconceptions, without ever hearing my side or having the opportunity to present my side,” she said, adding that she believes some of my accusers do. motivated by money.

Oga Combs is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, October 9, when my attorneys will argue for their release on bail.

They first refused bail after prosecutors claimed they pose “a serious risk” to the upcoming trial.

They told a New York judge that Oga Combs “is already attempting to block the government’s investigation into this case, repeatedly contacting victims and witnesses and feeding them false stories about the events.”
