General description of the program:

SENED is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization licensed and registered in Türkiye under number 27-15-175. The SENED organization was founded shortly after the Syrian Nakba and in response to the suffering of millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey and internally displaced persons in Syria, to alleviate suffering, achieve justice, equality and freedom and strengthen the role of civil society strengthen. and supporting and developing the local community. SENED works in the humanitarian work sectors to support, empower and educate the community through various programs, taking exceptional care of people with disabilities and their families and championing their issues.

SENED Association emphasizes on creating safe, accessible and participation-enhancing living conditions for the emotional, intellectual, physical and social development of individuals by focusing on people with disabilities. In addition to the medical perspective on disability, it seeks to find solutions to the problems faced by people with disabilities from a holistic perspective, by taking into account the disabled, their families and the society in which they live, focusing on the conditions in which they live. SENED Association strives to create a safe and supportive environment and space by conducting family-oriented activities to help disabled individuals and their families become stronger, discover their potential and be ready for their children. By collecting data on refugees with disabilities and identifying problems and needs, SENED aims to ensure harmony between disabled refugees and the local population with a volunteer, professional team and a community-oriented approach. All activities, education, research, advocacy, etc., are carried out on platforms created by local and disabled refugees.

Purpose of the position:

Providing the necessary assistance and support to implement Sened Organization’s media plan, including preparing required media, documentation and photographic output.

Tasks, objectives and competencies:

· Prepare and implement photography and videography activities for the organization’s projects and activities in the required places.

· Editing and producing media material.

· Cooperation and coordination with the media department in Türkiye.

· Store and archive media products correctly.

· Developing and implementing the media content and designs required for the organization’s projects.

· Record and edit the videos you want.

· Collaborate with project managers to document projects.

Please note: The above key responsibilities/tasks are illustrative. Other future responsibilities/activities may be assigned to the position depending on the department organizational chart.

Requirements: Essential

· At least 2-1 years of experience in a similar position.

· Advanced knowledge of creative software such as Adobe Suite, visual and audio editing software.

· Advanced knowledge of photography and filmmaking.

· Intermediate level in English.

· Knowledge of social media and public media tools and techniques.

Requirements (desired)

· The presence of media photography tools, such as a camera, its associated tools and a computer with good specifications.

· Bachelor’s degree in visual arts, media or other related field.

· Good experience with humanitarian work and its principles.

· Good experience in dealing with donor policies, procedures, requirements and compliance.

· Advanced level in MS Office – Excel – Word – PowerPoint
