After the astonishing success of stylish star Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Arya’, filmmakers from the Telugu film industry are flocking to Odisha to shoot more films. Now, Telugu Lady Superstar Anushka Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Ghaati’ is being shot in Lamtaput area and movie buffs are super excited.

The film is being shot in Lamtaput, Machakund and Anakadeli, a town in Koraput district of Odisha.

“I researched and found this beautiful place. This is called Duduma Waterfalls and it is located in a place called Odisha. Everyone talks about Kerala, Goa, Tamil Nadu or Himachal Pradesh; please come to Odisha they have amazing places. Here you can explore a lot, feel free and enjoy yourself with a little money,” says popular South Indian actor-director John Vijay.

But this is the first time that a Telugu film of Anushka Shetty, the female superstar of Tollywood, is being shot here. We are super excited that such a large-scale film is being shot in our region. Hopefully this will pave the way for more film shoots and subsequently bring development to our area,” said a local Amar Panigrahy.

“This is also a message to the government that many more films can be shot in our picturesque location if our area is developed,” he added.
