Prior to the launch of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6, Activision is giving away a huge cash prize as part of a safehouse challenge hosted by Roman Kemp.

Call Of Duty might not want to be described as political, but a new challenge for Black Ops 6 is trying to tackle Britain’s housing crisis.

Ahead of the game’s launch on October 25, Activision is running a competition to give one fan £100,000 in cash so they can put a deposit on a house.

The amount covers £57,959 for the house, which is estimated to have been the standard house price in Britain in 1991 (when Black Ops 6 is set), along with legal fees, money for new furniture and the latest gaming gear, including an Xbox series X.

To be in with a chance of winning, you’ll need to throw your support behind one of three influencers, Angry Ginge, Ash Holme or Danny Aarons, as they compete in a series of Black Ops-inspired challenges themed around lies and deceit. .

Radio host Roman Kemp will conduct the challenges in a replica safehouse inspired by the Black Ops series. If you back the right horse, so to speak, you’ll be entered into a prize draw for the £100,000 house deposit.

You can enter the competition, which is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over and who are not homeowners, by supporting one of the influencers here. When you register, you must also explain in 100 words why you should win and provide a supporting video.

To be in with a chance, you must submit your application by 10am BST on 21 October 2024. The winning influencer will be revealed on Call Of Duty social media channels on October 24, while the overall winner of the competition will be announced on November 1.

Commenting on the challenge, Kemp said: ‘This year’s Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 takes gamers back to the ’90s, a time we all look back on fondly thanks to its incredible music, wild fashion and ‘Cool Britannia’ vibes. .

“However, the ’90s were also a time of political unrest and deceit, so to secure the prize for one of their fans, our Rogue Agents will have to embody the ’90s and the Black Ops spirit to secure the bag.”

Black Ops 6’s biggest new addition is the omni-movement system, which lets you sprint, dive, and slide in any direction. Zombies also returns, but this time it’s set on a prison island.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass, if you’re subscribed to a specific tier.
