The luxury EV statement of the silent mafia

Rolls-Royce Spectre’s widebody transformation by digital artist Ildar shows a murdered, mafia-inspired luxury EV grand tourer.

With global EV sales showing signs of slowing, high-end EVs remain an exclusive commodity. Rolls-Royce, undeterred by market trends, continues to see steady demand for their ultra-luxurious Spectre, a grand tourer aimed at the world’s elite. While some manufacturers are struggling with declining sales, Rolls-Royce’s niche customer base is helping their custom order business thrive.

Built on Rolls-Royce’s ‘Architecture of Luxury’ platform shared with the Phantom VIII and Cullinan SUV, the Specter showcases the British carmaker’s ability to adapt BMW Group’s electric powertrain technology. Using two BMW eDrive SSM motors, the Specter generates an impressive power of 577 hp and offers a range of up to 460 kilometers (EPA) or 500 kilometers (WLTP). These performance figures ensure the Specter remains both formidable and luxurious on the road.

In addition to the factory configuration, the Specter is also a canvas for aftermarket tuners and digital car artists eager to experiment. A notable example is Ildar, the virtual artist behind the popular social media handle @ildar_project. Known for his work on BMW models, Ildar has reimagined the Specter as a ‘mob-approved’ widebody masterpiece in his latest digital creation.

This virtual build features an all-black design, complete with a huge rear diffuser, concave aftermarket wheels and a striking aero kit made from forged carbon fiber. The artist’s attention to detail extends to the front bumper, hood and signature waterfall grille, all of which have received a carbon fiber treatment for a cohesive, aggressive aesthetic.

Complementing the murdered-out look are striking red brake calipers, adding a pop of color against the deep black background. The widebody transformation is complete with fender flares and a subtle ducktail spoiler, enhancing the Spectre’s lowered, street-ready stance. Ildar’s CGI vision showcases the versatility and enduring appeal of Rolls-Royce’s electric grand tourer, proving that even in the digital world, the Specter is an icon for the ultra-wealthy.
