What to do on day one of ACL

Start your experience with a classic performance from Asleep At The Wheel, a legendary group that has been part of Austin City Limits since its inception in 2002. Then head to the American Express stage to enjoy Mexican singer-songwriter Carin Leon. His powerful voice fills the air with the soulful sounds of Spanish music and closes with a moving cover of Chris Stapleton’s ‘Tennessee Whiskey’.

Before grabbing the set from Stephen Sanchez, known for his gentle charm and classic crooner style, consider grabbing a refreshing Strawberry Sundance cocktail from the Hendrick’s Gin pop-up. With a drink in hand, take time to explore the nearby market, which offers unique treasures crafted by local artisans.

As the sun sets, Texas-based artist Leon Bridges delivers an unforgettable performance of fan favorites like “Beyond” and “Texas Sun” that you won’t want to miss. Following his set, Blink-182 takes the stage with a headlining performance that combines nostalgia, humor and a stunning display of pyrotechnics, lighting up the night sky in true rock show fashion.

Your ACL Fest Day 2 schedule should look like this

Entering through the West Box Office – usually less busy than in the East – you will start day two with the soulful sounds of Teddy Swims. From there, enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Still Woozy before heading to see Benson Boone, whose unique style and onstage charisma leave the audience mesmerized.

Day two also offers the perfect chance to collect some commemorative coins. Start recycling a bag of cans and earn a free t-shirt, courtesy of the Austin Parks Foundation. Grab a decorative pin at the Honda stand and enter for a chance to win a new car. Pop-up activations from Coke and Aperol Spritz will be spread throughout the festival grounds, offering additional surprises.

In the evening, the T-Mobile stage will feature a performance by Renée Rapp, a talented musical artist, Broadway star and actress. Large crowds are expected, so arrive early to guarantee a great vantage point. As the evening progresses, Dua Lipa will take to the stage and deliver an exciting array of hits that will have everyone dancing and singing along – an ideal way to round off a full day of festival fun.

Last but not least: day three of ACL Fest

Day three could be the highlight of the festival experience, and that’s not just because of Chappell Roan’s performance. This final day stands out as a celebration of music, community and unforgettable memories. Here’s how to make the most of it:

Start your day with Flo, a graceful girl group trio known for their harmonious pop performances. Next, check out Orville Peck, whose cowboy ballads and signature cover of Willie Nelson’s “Cowboys Are Secretly Fond of Each Other” are too good to miss. Then move on to Cannons for smooth melodies that will get everyone grooving, followed by Jess Glynne whose stirring vocals give the entire crowd great energy.

As the festival draws to a close, take a moment to appreciate the creativity of fellow attendees as they show off imaginative group costumes, adding to the lively camaraderie of the event.

This sense of togetherness continues as fans eagerly await Chappell Roan’s highly anticipated set. Known for her captivating performances, Chappell dazzles with her bold outfits, dynamic on-screen graphics and hits from “The Rise and Fall of the Midwest Princess.”

Take some time between performances to recharge and explore the Bonus Tracks stage, where you can take part in fun activities like Drag Bingo. If the headliners aren’t calling your name, head to the Silent Disco in the evening. The lively atmosphere invites you to dance freely while making new friends and enjoying a unique festival experience!
