Waves of Colombian immigrants have called the Jackson Heights neighborhood of Queens home since the 1970s and 1980s, driven by the unrest of drug cartels and social unrest in South America at the time. Now a new generation of Colombian-Americans is making their mark on ‘Little Colombia’. Melissa Colorado of NBC New York reports this.
