HARRISBURG – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Darnell Henry, age 42, of the Bronx, New York, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor and enticing a minor to illegal activities. sexual activity.

According to U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam, the indictment charges Henry with attempted sexual exploitation of a child under the age of 18 between May 9, 2024 and May 25, 2024, in Adams County. The indictment further accuses Henry of enticing a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity between May 9, 2024 and June 2, 2024.

The case was investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police, the New York City Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant United States Attorney K. Wesley Mishoe is prosecuting the case.

The case was filed as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
