Rapper FBG Duck’s mother accuses Lil Durk of using his label to run a ‘criminal enterprise’ and claims King Von assaulted her son in new lawsuit

The mother of the murdered rapper FBG Duck has filed a lawsuit against Lil Durkhis now deceased protégé King Von’s estate, as well as several others she believes are responsible for her son’s death in 2020.

Lasheena weekly announced the lawsuit on Wednesday (October 9) through her lawyers, accusing Lil Durk, real name Derrick Banks, and King Von, real name Dayvon Daquan Bennett, of murdering her son Carlton Weekly for profit.

Lasheena claimed that Durk’s Only The Family (OTF) label, which signed Von as an artist, is a “criminal enterprise” and that the two orchestrated Duck’s murder because they knew it would increase their fame.

Von and Duck had a pretty well-known rivalry at the time, exchanging several diss records aimed at each other. Their respective gangs, O Block and Tookaville, had also feuded.

Six months before Duck’s murder, Von had reportedly filmed a music video in which he killed a character named Duck.

The lawsuit ended Durk and Von’s alleged involvement in Duck’s murder, claiming:

“(Von) had a vendetta against FBG Duck…and consistently tried to build a brand of violence and reality rap based on committing real acts of violence against FBG Duck and the general public,”

It added:

“They understood that reality rap, violence, controversy, beefs and fame were good for driving more record sales, streams and views, building a brand and capitalizing on a violent image.”

It continued:

“As a result (of the murder), Lil Durk, O Block and (and) OTF became international brands through social media and music streaming platforms and profited through podcasts, social media and music streaming…“Essentially they made money from the murder of FBG Duck. ”

Duck was shot sixteen times on August 4, 2020, while shopping at a Dolce & Gabbana store.

As we previously reported, FBI documents shared during the murder trial claimed Von Duck delivered a $100,000 hit.

Von was killed in a shooting in Atlanta just a few months after Duck. It appears that Durk and Von’s estate have not publicly responded to the lawsuit at this time.
