Nainda told The Namibian on Thursday.

“With regard to Namibian women, it is up to us to intensify our approach or profiling of every person entering or leaving Namibia, and to share the necessary information with the destinations they travel to and from. issue of cooperation with other countries remains a priority in this context,” she said.

According to Nainda, many Namibian female drug traffickers are arrested in other countries.

“Namibia has a lot of cooperation efforts with other countries where they are normally arrested, and we do that through Interpol communications and bilateral relations,” she said.

“It is now up to us as a country or continent to work together with all stakeholders and collect data and share information through Interpol by exchanging information and intelligence,” she said.
