Lucky Casino Player Wins Jackpot After Betting $3 in Las Vegas

Millions of people come to Las Vegas each year to enjoy the nightlife, live entertainment scene and gambling.

An out-of-state visitor took a chance at a casino on the Strip and ended up winning the jackpot.

They won $2,170,581.77, the Palms Casino Resort reported in a July 27 Facebook post.

The guest sat at a Wheel of Fortune slot machine, put $3 into the machine and started playing.

There was 46 cents left when a message appeared on the screen warning the player to call a representative to verify if he had won the jackpot, a photo shows.

The player had won $2.1 million.

“Wowza….dream hit. Congratulations!” someone commented on Facebook.

Other players have recently had luck at Las Vegas casinos.

A Texas resident was on Treasure Island on July 16 when he bet $3 on the Monte Carlo Spin and Win slot machine and won the jackpot, McClatchy News reported.

They won $122,720.

Another player won nearly $2 million on a slot machine at the Encore at Wynn on July 14.
